Will there be a review of The Master?
Welllll,
I need to see it again before I really know what I think (I’m the worst, sorry). And even so I cant really imagine myself sitting myself down and writing a straight-faced movie review for my stupid tumblr where I mostly post about my hair and Janine Turner.
However, I can tell you that a lot of people will not like it. Unlike TWBB which is, in my opinion, just an undeniably great movie, this one is really challenging and perhaps unsatisfying. Richard wrote a really good, fairly negative negative review for The Atlantic that I don’t necessarily agree with, but I also can’t really argue with. When the lights came up, I was overcome by a wave of disappointment, but I’ve been obsessed with it ever since, and I am going to see it again literally the first chance I can. I think it might be one of those Dylan going electric things.
Also maybe it’s just a movie and I sound like a psycho?
